Story boards..
Camera rotation in first scene will be a lot of work... but cool. I would mock it up in 3D... do the camera move... then rotoscope over it.
Running down the street scene is shown from a difficult angle. I would do a medium close - over the shoulder shot. Then all you need to animate is the torso and head. Watching his legs go does not add to the story.
Use the same camera angle at the coffee shop so you can just scale up for the medium shot. Right now the camera is higher in the establishing shot of the coffee shop than the camera in the very next sequencing showing the two characters on the medium shot.
Keep the skateboard shot very short in length… to save labor.
Have Joey and the fireman run past in the foreground instead of the background. That will also save labor because you will not need to do all of those legs.
Create a different last shot… without the game play… Otherwise it will seem to be a show about game addiction instead of a show about college life.
I am a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design, with my degree in Digital Illustration and Digital Media, a minor focus in Web Design and Photography.
In my free time, I love gaming. Gaming is a true passion of mine, like books are to some. I also love to work with technology, and often spend hours reading news, blogs and forums about it.
I love to create digitally as well. Often drawing and animating, or creating game reviews for the company Topic Tech Gaming on YouTube.
